The 剧院 program at bet365亚洲官网 offers a BFA with tracks in 表演, 生产, 音乐剧 和 剧院管理. The 剧院 program also offers a 辅修戏剧.  Admission to the Musical Theater 和 表演 tracks require an audition[1]. Students have many opportunities to develop their skills as the program offers a comprehensive season during the academic year with musicals, 孩子们的戏剧, 舞蹈音乐会, 时间片, 还有现代作品.

The 剧院 program offers students a number of networking opportunities.  In addition to Peach State, the program maintains a Pro-Conn程序 (专业连接).  Pro-Conn brings professionals to campus to give workshops, 建议, 和 answer questions regarding the theatre industry.  

How do we know we are successful?  看看我们的校友就知道了.  Many of our alumni are those who return to campus as part of the networking opportunities or as part of the student showcase. We view this alumni relationship as a strong advantage to our program. 

Our alumni have worked on Broadway in the revival of ANNIE; On 和 Off-Broadway in the production of 39 STEPS; in regional 和 national tours of JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER, 巨魔住! 和 HAIRSPRAY; on the Alliance stage in BULL DURHAM; in films such as WHEN THE TEAM STANDS TALL 和 TROUBLE WITH THE CURVE. On television our alumni have worked on the series ALL MY CHILDREN, 实习医生风云, THE CHILLING ADVENTURES OF SABRINA, 黑色的靴子, 和纳什维尔, 在地方剧院, at theme parks including Disney 和 Universal, 和 cruise lines across the globe. 

Our production students have served as Scenery Supervisor at The Public 剧院 in New York, the 技术总监 at the Aurora 剧院 in Atlanta, Scenic Artists at the Metropolitan Opera,  Wigs 和 Hair 技术员s at the Metropolitan Opera, 纽约的舞台经理, Lighting 生产 Planner at Disney World, 和 Costume 专家 at Universal.

Students entering the University must maintain a GPA of 2.0 or better in order to continue as 剧院 和 Dance majors. If in any given semester a student's overall GPA falls below 2.0, the student will have one semester (fall or spring) to bring it back up to or above 2.0. If the overall GPA remains below 2.0 for two consecutive semesters, the student will be required to change major or they will be automatically transferred to an undeclared major status.

Students changing majors from another program within the University must also have at least a 2.0 overall GPA to transfer to the 剧院 or Dance major, 和 they will be subject to the same maintenance requirements already described.
